Kingdom Hearts - Bliss

   He'd been watching her. For days now. To him, he couldn't utter a word when he was around her...and her when with him. She would just hang her head...and he'd just stare ahead of him.

   She would talk to Axel...and to Roxas..and that's what made him jealous. He closed his eyes under that black veil of his. His eyes were always hidden. And hers were always hidden from his sight. He was jealous. Those other two could see her face...her eyes...could listen to her speak. But not him.

   Today was a day she had to go with him on a mission...to collect hearts from Agrabah. Maybe today would be the day. Or maybe it'd go like any other day.

   "Xion. Time to go." he uttered to her. She looked up at him through her Organization hood and nodded to him. He opened a portal and they stepped through. Upon arriving, he could hear crashing of pottery and things strewing about. He looked to Xion, but she, like always, was gone to investigate.

   Following the tracks in the sand, and also the crashing and noises, they came upon some heartless which they took down rather easily. Closing his eyes, Axel looked to Xion and offered her an apple from one of the stands. She took it in her hand softly and nodded curtly to the male as she walked to one of the construction planks and sat down. She just sat there...staring at the apple. Riku just sighed and sat next to her.

   Silence lingered as they sat there, awkwardly taking bites, one after the other. It was almost a repeated motion. As Xion finished hers, she stood.

   "It's time to RTC...Riku..." she said and looked back at the other. He caught a glimpse of her eyes through the shadow of her hood and nodded. He followed after her from where they came in and he stepped through the portal once more. They were returned soon enough, only to have Xion run off with the other two and leave him behind. He was right. Today was just another normal day.

   Riku was soon pestered by the always energetic Demyx. He glared at him, though he could not tell from the wrap around his eyes. The look on his face just made Demyx more energetic. He began to play his Sitar, which always annoyed him. Riku just leaned back on a couch and waited for a new mission to come up. It soon did, but this time it was a solo mission. Riku stood and stretched up, only to port to his location. Nothing that he could tell was wrong. Quietly, he began to scout the area for any heartless.

   Nothing. It was probably just a false alarm, or someone beat him to it. He scratched the back of his neck though and started towards a food stand that was in the nearby market area. He took his hood down as he neared the area, but didn't take off his veil. Just a drink was all he wanted. He turned around and looked in the direction he was headed, but didn't notice the person standing in front of him.

   Once bumped into, Riku took notice of the small figured heartless and her short black hair.

   "Slacker." she mumbled and held her hand up, which above it, was a floating heart. So, she was the one who beat him to it. He just looked at her, unamused at the fact she had beaten him to the heartless HE was supposed to eliminate. He just looked to her and sipped the straw to his drink while she just glared at him, "A-Aren't you mad?" she said confused.

   "No." he said to her and watched as she closed her fist around the heart and watched as it disappeared. She looked frustrated. She puffed up her cheeks and stormed off. He just shrugged to himself and continued back to the portal to RTC. When he had his feet on the ground at the Organization, the first thing he saw was Xion. She looked flustered and mad. He raised an eyebrow and only rolled his eyes. Continuing to his room, he passed Roxas and Xion in a narrow hall that lead to his room.

   She was able to glance at him before she took the others hands in hers and said something...he'd rather not listen to ever again...because it made him fluster. She then leaned in rather close to Roxas and kissed him. He cleared his throat and continued to his room, bypassing Larxene rather quickly because she saw how red his face was and she wanted to know why. He just went into his room and shut the door tight.

   He pressed his back against the wall and pinched the bridge of his nose and huffed some. What was Xion's deal? Was she trying to make him mad for some reason? He didn't know.

   About half an hour later, there was a knock on his door. He opened it up, only to notice the small figure, black hair, and piercing blue eyes. He raised his eyebrow again and waited.

   "Well?!" Xion said and stomped her foot as she shoved the other.

   "Well what, Xion?" he asked her before he stepped to the side to allow her entrance into his room. She stormed in, but slammed the door behind her. She glared up at him, it looked like tears were brimming in her eyes.

   "Why aren't you furious with me!?" she shouted and pushed him again. He only allowed her to throw her tantrum and then as she settled down and sat on his bed.

   "Because I don't know what I'm to be furious about?" he said as he stood in front of her. She looked up at him and glared.

   "I've done all these...things! To prove my worth...to...to.." she stopped there and leaned her head into her hands and her shoulders shook real lightly. Riku watched her for a second and then backed up as she stood in front of him, rather close. She punched him over and over in the chest, as hard as she could. Riku took every blow like it was nothing.

   He sighed some and took hold of her wrist as she threw her last punch. He pulled her close to him, only to have his lips meet her forehead and his free hand hold her there. For now...this was pure. This was innocent.

   This...this was Bliss
